UPDATE (4/10/2008): The "postage stamp" maps that display the station location on a countour map have changed. Topozone was bought by trails.com. The maps are still available, but zooming in and out as well as other features requires a subscription.

UPDATE (4/08/2008): Following a prolonged outage from April 3-7, 2008 Mesowest is now back online with both current and historical data available throughout our various products. There may still be a few lagging aspects, such as Quality Control Flags, for some stations. If you notice any additional problems or have any questions please feel free to contact us at: meteo-mesowest@lists.utah.edu.

My MesoWest released. Now you can save profiles that store map and tabular settings.

As announced several months ago, access to ascii files of RAWS data written to disk on ROMAN has been discontinued effective May 1. The same functionality is supported by using a script. Contact us for further information.

What is ROMAN and what has changed regarding RAWS data?

ROMAN provides access to environmental observations from thousands of stations around the nation. Observations collected by federal, state, and local agencies as well as commercial firms are integrated into easy-to-use tables and maps.
Access to RAWS data has been streamlined and latencies (the time lag between when the observation is valid and when it is available for use) have been cut typically in half.
Reliability of access to RAWS and NWS/FAA observations has been improved by adding additional hardware and porting software to a centralized, secure facility.
